Why Not? A Cat’s Guide to Stopping Brain Rot.

Subject:
Your ten-step plan called. It’s tired.

Dear Human,

Oh look.

Another human making life complicated again.

Big speeches? Useless.
Ten-step programs? Exhausting.
Asking “Is this the right decision?”
for three weeks straight?

Peak comedy.

Please calm down.

It is… a decision.

Humans love turning simple choices
into full-length documentaries.
Cats do not.

Cats see something interesting,
tilt their head,
and commit immediately
like tiny chaotic legends.

No pros and cons list.
No spiral.
No panel discussion.

Just:

Why not?

Why not say yes?
Why not try the weird idea?
Why not eat the snack at 11am?
Why not cancel the plan
and do absolutely nothing instead?

“Why not?”
is not reckless.

It’s efficient.

It saves time.
It saves energy.
It saves you from becoming
a professional overthinker.

So go ahead.

Be a little spontaneous.
Be a little unreasonable.
Be the version of you
that a cat would approve of—

the one that stops asking for permission
and just does the thing.

Warmly (but not emotionally),
— a cat

P.S. Life is short. Your overthinking is long. Pick one.
