Why Cats Never Google ‘How To Be Happy’ (And They’re Right)

Subject:

Cats don’t do motivational speeches

Dear Human,

You keep scanning the horizon for the big answer.

The life-changing revelation.

The perfect quote that will finally make everything click.

Meanwhile, a cat is sitting right beside you, offering something much smaller.

Please calm down.

It is… just a small tip.

Not shouted.

Not wrapped in dramatic music.

Just quietly placed there for when you’re ready to notice.

Humans love the loud version of wisdom.

Big systems.

Bold declarations.

Motivational speeches that promise to fix you in one sitting.

Cats don’t bother with any of that.

We don’t perform enlightenment.

We simply exist in the quiet.

We notice the small things — the patch of sun, the steady breath, the moment when nothing needs fixing.

And somehow, that’s where the real happiness slips in.

Soft.

Undemanding.

Lasting.

You are allowed to prefer the small wisdom too.

Stop rushing toward the next big insight.

Slow down just enough for the gentle one to find you.

It’s usually been there all along — waiting patiently, without exclamation points.

Warmly (but not emotionally),

— a cat

P.S. The best wisdom usually comes without capital letters or exclamation points.
